In the 80s we saw synths starting to take away acoustic instrumentalists' work, particularly brass, so I figured that's where I would go. As I did not yet know what a PC was I got a hold of a Roland MC500 and a couple of entry synths (Roland MT32, anyone?). Granted, I also had a Korg DW8000, the only synth I ever regret selling.
I was so fortunate to have Tracy Shuster on vocals, Jonathan Hutchinson on tenor sax, and Michael Berard on guitar on this track.
